The New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal, thrash, power, glam/hard rock is here, new music from new bands every year. So where are all the fans of this music talking about what’s coming out today? Like Crazy Lixx, H.E.A.T., Crashdiet, Eclipse, and Kissin Dynamite, Latvian hard rockers Bloody Heels carrying on those traditions from the 80s with big riffs and solos, melodic vocals, hooks and melodies.

Kicking off their second album with the title track, hallmarks to the dirtier sleeze of the sunset strip sounds and style of LA Guns, Crue, Bulletboys, to Skid Row, Dangerous Toys, Dirty Looks, and Spread Eagle on second tune “Criminal Minds” and “Sugar & Spice”. Singer Valts Berzins (Vicky White) is very reminisce of Michael Starr of Steel Panther at times, see “No Matter” “Black Swan” pulls back on the punch and gets soulful in that vocal with some excellent tasty guitar leads, “Stand Your Ground” leaves room for the bass to carry things. “Thin Line” is rock radio single ready, while “Silhouette” could have been on a Tesla album with that acoustic guitar and cello. And a saxophone on “Healing Water”, who do they think they are, Cinderella? LOL, it works well in the track.
People, get with it and start supporting the new bands like those from the past or this music is going to struggle to survive. And so I can see them play shows in America.
