Blessed Curse spend no time on pretense or bullshit. They're not going to coddle you or hold your hand; they're just going to rattle your bones and eardrums. The NorCal trio have unleashed a blistering 5-track EP upon 2017 entitled "Beware of the Night," straight out of the most primal cage in the Thrash zoo, replete with the power chord-centric, Speed Metal tritonal riffs, the atonal barked vocals full of fuck-you attitude and lyrics, the cheesy album cover art, and (probably) the shirtless, mulletted skinny mustache guys in the pit.

There's very little chance that Blessed Curse will ever be mistaken for REO Speedwagon. These guys have a singular purpose as modern Thrash infantrymen, and they kill it. Fans of Testament, Helstar, Exodus, early Sepultura, early Slayer, Trivium, Nuclear Assault, and maybe High on Fire will get their itch brutally scratched here.
