Although still in their 20s, this German outfit has already morphed at least twice. After beginning as traditional rock to glam and now a more modern rock (hints of staccato, mechanized/industrialized style), the onstage imagery has been toned down as well (judging from the nearly half dozen times I've seen them live). Should be interesting to see how their swelling fanbase (including a large female contingent) reacts to this radical departure.

To my ears, this is NOT metal and only marginally rock, opting for FM radio commercialism (or the Euro equivalent): all polish and melody (a the expense of guitar). Witness first single, lead track ‘D.N.A.’. Amongst the electronica pops and whistles, the repetitive, call-response titular chorus (“yeah, yeah, yeah”) is seemingly written for the live crowd, if not popular consumption. At least there's some urgency to ‘God In You’ and ‘VIP In Hell’, as well as mocking sense of humor, absent elsewhere. If you're not going to bring back the straight ahead “Addicted To Metal” approach, at least revert to sleaze rock/glam, which was infinitely more convincing. “Megalomania”? If you think this is good, sure!
