The problem seems two-fold: first a lack of a definitive sound. Sure, they are a female fronted outfit, but they sail from orchestral laced title track, to thrashy (‘A Virtual Dream’), with a ballad here and there (thumping Phillip Glass begun ‘Out Of This World’). Japanese (‘Further Afield’) and Middle Eastern (‘Skyline’s End’) influences go nowhere after initial introduction and first single ‘Higher’ seems plundered from the Annete Olzon (Nightwish) book of rock. Secondly, and more importantly, none of those styles are represented by memorable songs. Sure, they’re a talented/adequate outfit (as there are in almost every Northern German bar any weekend). In this case, the "novelty" of a female voice got them above the club circuit.
