Although the ‘Ignition’ intro kicks off with a melody borrowed from the last pair of Kamelot platters, the likes of ‘Driven’ show creativity (utilizing a deck of cards in an Alice In Wonderland personification), don’t judge this book by its cover. Diminutive female vocalist Ida Haukland sports a big voice, reminiscent of the powerful Ann Wilson (Heart).

Check out ‘Watcher’, a piano concluding ‘Marionette’ and refrain in ‘Human Condition’ (think Wilson on ‘Crazy For You’) as evidence. A simply titled ‘21’ is straight ahead metal. ‘The Anger And The Silent Remorse’ is bookended around symphonic strings, while ‘Worlds Apart’ is speedy power metal and the title cut leans more towards prog. Ditto the closing instrumental outro (‘The Last Haven’). ‘Watcher’ is a grittier, mid-tempo number ("Three sides to every story." Indeed). Given the right exposure, destined to take a leap into the next division.
