In the continued diversity of the Napalm roster comes this German outfit’s debut, artwork and sound recalling classic Dissection, so much so this effort ends with their rendition of ‘The Somberlain’. Lofty comparison, but at times warranted, as the fabled Swedes were more than just shouted death metal (apart from the Reinkaos swansong), more a mix of melodic traditional/speed metal along with the burgeoning blackened death.

‘On the likes of the acoustic laced ‘Frozen Kingdom’, a more metered (and acoustic begun) ‘Spirit Of The Night’ and ‘Everlasting Fire’. Shame it’s so short (a 90 second ‘In The Realm Of Thousand Deaths’ intro, the 1:11 piano and synthesizer ‘In Silence We Eternally Sleep’ intermezzo, six originals and the aforementioned classic, 45:39 total), but better than overstaying their welcome.
