When it comes to Manowar’s popularity in Europe, and especially in Germany, just based on this show alone you can see they are as big as giants Metallica, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Judas Priest, and Kiss.

The concert encore featuring past Manowar members Ross the Boss and David Shankle on guitar with drummers Kenny "Rhino" Earl and Donnie Hamzik, plus an orchestra, is what makes this DVD all the more special for Manowar, and Heavy Metal fans, everywhere. Past members also make appearances during the respective part of the show where they played on those songs from their time in the band. And if all this was not special enough ‘Heart of Steel’ is sung in German titled ‘Herz Aus Stahl’.

Camera work for the show is done very well as it gives plenty of close ups and wide enough shots, minus quick clips, to show the size of the crowd attending this outdoor Earthshaker festival.

Really after five volumes of DVDs filled with content Manowar really give their fans their moneys worth and they don’t skimp when it comes to material or production quality either. After seeing all four "Hell On Earths" and now "The Day the Earth Shook" I feel like I took a trip around the world to see all these countries because Manowar includes everyone and everything they have done tour. The fans really became a large part to these "Hell on Earth" releases. Its Manowar overkill I say (laughs).
