GUNS N' ROSES: Play Second NYC Surprise Gig; Setlist Revealed                           

New York Magazine reports:

Did we just see what we think we saw? Tonight Vulture's fashionable sisters at the Cut sneaked us into a Fashion Week—pegged concert, at Gramercy Park Hotel's Rose Bar, by a group of musicians purporting to be Guns N' Roses, at which a person with similar facial hair and sweat glands to this guy sang several songs from “Appetite For Destruction”, the “Lies” EP, and “Chinese Democracy” (but only one from the “Use Your Illusions” and none, obviously, from “The Spaghetti Incident”?). Was it really Axl Rose? He wore a hat and sunglasses for most of the encore-less set, and his singing were barely audible, but his dancing, demeanor, and tardiness (the band took the stage at around 1:30 AM) made us think it was.

Guns N' Roses played a surprise show in front of 100 people on Thursday, February 11th at a private party for fashion designer John Varvatos at his New York City store (formerly CBGBs) as part of New York Fashion Week.
