AARIUS STUDIOS REHEARSAL/RECORDING STUDIO IN NEW JERSEY

AARIUS Studios is a brand new state of the art rehearsal/recording studio found in Sayreville, New Jersey; literally minutes from the Starland Ballroom concert hall.

AARIUS Studios is run by Joe and Crystal Cattano. Joe’s professional music career started when he started playing with area original bands in the late 80's and early 90's. He played in bands such as Lacey Page, Ritual, Makara and Frost Bite. Frost Bite also featured guitarist Jack Frost who currently performs with such internationally known and regarded bands as: Seven Witches, Bronx Casket Co. with DD Verni from Overkill, as well as a former touring member with Savatage. Jack utilizes AARIUS Studios for his rehearsing and recording needs. He will also be teaching *guitar lessons at the studio. *Contact AARIUS Studios for more information.

During Joe's time with Frost Bite, he was endorsed by Main Line Entertainment (MLE) drumsticks. Joe also helped with the production on all the demo’s and releases for these bands as well as attending the Institute of Audio Engineering in Manhattan to become a Studio Engineer.

After the demise of Frost Bite in the late 90’s, Joe started playing with local cover bands in the “Jersey Shore” circuit. During this time, he noticed a need for a higher quality setting to rehearse. Very few (if any) studios in the area, offered a realistic set up to the musician. Joe wanted to give to the rehearsing musician a sense of being on stage as well as providing a place where the musician can experience a true performance, with a drum riser, stage, stage lighting and a full backline and PA system.

AARIUS Studios offers a fully-equipped rehearsal studio that gives musicians the benefit of spending the majority of their rehearsal time making music. All of the studio rooms are our climate-controlled and contain a "brand new, complete" backline:

• Full Single or Full Double Bass Tama Drum Kits (cymbals not included)
• Up to 2 Guitar Amplifiers
• One Bass Rig
• Complete PA System, including Mics, Cables and Stands

Additionally, each of their rehearsal studios has the capability of a live, *stereo recording straight to CD. Two room mics are placed in any of the rehearsal studios to record a practice quality recording for analytical purposes. *This stereo recording is not to be confused with a demo or session (multi-track) recording.

As a clinician and endorser for Zildjian cymbals, Aquarian drumheads, Regal Tip drumsticks, and the S- Hoop drum hoop, he has conducted clinics and master classes all over the world. He is also a faculty member at Drummers Collective in New York City.
