Summer Breeze Festival

The organizers of the Summer Breeze Open Air 2011, which will be held at its usual location in Dinkelsbühl, Germany, from August 18th to 20th, have issued the following statement:

"We announce God Dethroned's appearance at Summer Breeze 2011 with mixed feelings. Let's start with the bad news: The Dutchmen led by Henri Sattler will unfortunately disband at the end of the year, after two decades of pure death metal. During this time, they have earned their place among the undisputed constants of the European death metal scene, never drifting one millimeter from their chosen path. So, despite the sad news, we're still happy God Dethroned will play their last big show at Summer Breeze. For the last time, you will be able of bang your head off to ubersongs such as 'Villa Vampiria' and 'The Warcult'. This is your last chance to witness this band on a big stage in Germany. Please give this extremely underrated band the farewell they deserve! Death metal doesn't get any deadlier than this."

On Wednesday, August 17th a Nuclear Blast Label Night will feature the following lineup: Vader, Destruction, Melechesh, Scar Symmetry, Revamp, Sylosis.
